Breaking Ground at the Donovan Mill

900 South Main Street, Silver City, NV 89428 (on Rt 341 right near the intersection of Rt 342)

 

The Donovan Mill is a pristine historic silver stamp mill in Silver City, Nevada where cyanide and zinc methods for processing ore were perfected in the late 1800s and then used all over the world, eliminting the need for poisonous mercury.

Admission is free. Donations are welcome. Wear warm clothing as it gets cold at night, and good shoes. The exhibit is not sequential so visit anytime during exhibit hours. Doors will not open before 7:30pm.
